A number of factors can influence the teaching of mathematics but teachers play an important part in the role of mathematics. This is important for us to understand what effective mathematics education is? What can teacher do to change these stereotypes? There is a general belief in society that if a math teacher knows math well then it is best for math teaching. But knowledge of mathematics alone is not enough to teach mathematics.
