v Science journal
The teacher can advise students to maintain a science journal. It can
encourage students to write down their experience and ideas on a daily basis
and gather information through the help of resources available to them. The
science journal will promote the child’s understanding of scientific inquiry
into related topics to concept of science discussed in the classroom.
v Roleplay
Playing different roles among students develops skills in controlling
social and scientific interactions. As a fun activity it also motivates
students to play a real character and students also develop their own different
thinking when playing a character.
v Constructive text
The purpose of creative writing is to share written scenes with an
emotional touch of human imagination, experience and novelty through story,
poem, song etc.
v Portfolio
The students portfolio provides students with knowledge skills and
attitudes, documenting their development. It is a picture of students during
certain times of throughout the year. All the tasks assigned to the student and
the evaluation done by the teacher become part of his portfolio.
v Anecdotes
The teacher notes the written behaviors of the students progress on a
daily basis. It provides a record of observable events of significant events in
a child’s life. During the teaching-learning process, sometimes question-based
questions are asked against the teacher by children whose beliefs are more
outside the classroom.
